WELCOME to our kennel...
Welcome to our kennel and thank you for visiting our site ! We are a small kennel located in Northern Tuscaloosa County, Alabama.... ROLL TIDE !!!!! We are currently transferring our main focus from Treeing Walkers to Redbone Coonhounds, and are home to both breeds.
We were formally know as North River Kennels. Seeing as how we have now moved to the banks of nearby Warrior River it made sense to us to change names. Same nice dogs, same outstanding pups, but a wonderful new home with ALOT of plans!!!
We like to say we focus on dual purpose dogs, conformationally correct hunting dogs. However, our young guns are proving we might need to change to multi purpose dogs. We have branched out from just coonhunting and bench showing into all breed conformation shows, hog baying, obedience trials, dock jumping, and competition weight pulling. The phrase we have been hearing the most lately... "Never knew a hound could do that "
Jake recieves his final two passes to UKC SHR at the Music City Hunting Retriever Club in Nashville, TN. This finishes him to a UKC SHR (Stated Hunting Retriever Champion) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! May 2012
